The “Sage Ways” Story
Our name and logo are woven from themes significant to founder Anita Bhasin: environment, wisdom, and growth.
‘Sage’ references both the serene beauty and adaptive equilibrium of the high desert around Bhasin’s home in Bend, Oregon, as well as the archetype of the Wise Elder – the teacher, the mentor, the advisor. Sage is both a hardy medicinal herb, and a truth-seeker and helper; these are qualities we bring to every client engagement.
The owl is known among biologists for its sensory prowess, among mythologists for its association with
Athena, Greek goddess of wisdom. It’s been used for centuries as symbol of knowledge and learning –
things we work to grow within our clients.
